Thank You

Thank You

A couple of weekends ago I did something not so smart. I went through some things due to it. I was mad at myself and in ways thought my life was over. Well, when it all boiled down, things weren’t as bad as I had made them out to be.

While going through, I wondered, why does God allow certain things to pass us but not others? What is it about me that He saw fit to bless me with His grace and mercy? Why wasn’t my car repossessed? Why wasn’t I laid off of the job? Why didn’t the bank tell me no? How come my test results were negative? How come the drunk driver missed me?

There are so many times where tragedy passes us by and we look at it as luck. That wasn’t luck. That was God’s grace and mercy. It happens more often than not, yet we don’t take out the time to say “thanks.”

All I have to say is “Thank You, God” for all that you have saved me from. Thank you for protecting me, for covering me, for guiding and directing me, loving and forgiving me.

Next time you realize the perils of life pass you by, just look up and say “Thank You.”

Rejoice in the Lord always.

Blessings & Prosperity!
