Sunday Inspiration – Speak Life

Have you been praying for something and it hasn’t happened yet? Is everyone else around you being blessed while your dreams seem to grow further and further away? Do you feel that your faith is strong but when you see the days, weeks, months, maybe even years pass by without your dreams being fulfilled, your faith begins to waiver like the waves in the sea?

“Life and death lies in the power of the tongue.”

Speak life into your life. Don’t allow what you presently see erase what the future holds for you.

I know it gets discouraging. Lord knows I know. I am still waiting to sign with a literary agency. I am still waiting on my book to be published. I am still waiting on my dreams to come to fruition. But I will not speak death to my dreams because they have not come to life yet.

Recently, I came across words of fear and doubt by a woman who is the CEO of her own company. I said to her, “Don’t let fear replace what you know to be true.”

I had no clue as to what I was saying. It just came out of me. I didn’t realize its power.

How many times do we allow our fears and doubts to replace what we alreadyknow to be true? More times than not. We’ve witnessed things happen in our lives that we never could have imagined. We’ve seen these things with our own eyes. So why do we feel like the next task is too hard to achieve?

I don’t know about you but I can’t allow doubt and fear to replace what I know to be true of my life, true of my futurestory.

Speak positive things. Find some positive affirmations or create your own. Do what you have to do to remind you that you can have what you want. Whatever your dream is can and will be yours.

Stay tuned for my series on prayer starting next week.

Blessings & Prosperity!
