Sunday Inspiration – Prayer pt. 4

“Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24
When we go to God in prayer, we must ask for things in His name. Yes, it is okay to ask for stuff that we want, but we must remember that it is those things in our life that are in His will that He will give to us. As stated in a previous part, He will give us things that are not good for us in order for us to learn and grow. When He gives us what we ask in His name, that is when we will find joy.
John 15:7, John 14:13-14
“Now this is the confidencethat we have in Him…” 1John 5:14-15
Don’t give up while asking. You may endure storms, trials and tribulations while waiting for your prayers to be answered. Count it all joy, though. James 1:2-3 and Romans 5:3-5
God wants to give us the desires of our hearts. Let us continue to Ask, Seek, and Knock until it comes to pass.
I pray that these lessons have been of help and encouragement for you. Thank you for reading.
I could not find the video to this song for nothing, but it is a song that truly speaks to me. It’s by Milton Brunson & The Thompson Community Singers called In My Name. Like the song says, “Just ask in My name…” Here is the link to the song. Hope it blesses you just the same: It’s song 2…In My Name
Blessings & Prosperity!
