Finding My Way

I enrolled. I studied. I conquered. Last summer I enrolled at Austin Community College with the plan to just get an associate degree, then see what I was feeling after. Well, during the fall semester, something got ahold of me in a philosophy class where I heard “Dr. Blues” being whispered in my subconscious. From that point on, I changed directions by deciding to skip a two-year degree and go straight for a bachelor’s. This journey began with just an idea to pass time, but as my last class at ACC ended yesterday, I realized that I achieved something greater than I could’ve imagined. My purpose is bigger than I imagined, and now I am able to see how strategic God is in aligning every aspect of our lives, from birth, to get us exactly on the path of our destiny. We just have to give up the idea of what we think the journey is supposed to look like and follow the road that has already been paved before us. I have peresevered, been transformed, and achieved, and am now ready for the next step I will take in two weeks. Spring 2018, I see you.
