What Will You Choose?

What we hold on to is a choice, just like what we choose to let go of. There is nothing we can do about what happened yesterday. Tomorrow will take care of tomorrow. All we have is right now, this very moment.

You have an opportunity every day that you awake with breath in your lungs to begin again, to start over, to give life another shot. It’s in your best interest to forgive the past–what did or didn’t happen yesterday, last week, or ten years ago. The only thing holding onto stuff will do is eat you alive. All that exists is now. Today.

What do you want to do with your right now? Do you want to spend the only moment you have harping on the past or worrying about the future? What will last night or tomorrow gain from your energy? What will you?

Give yourself permission to see and experience what today will bring. You owe it to yourself.

No matter what you decide, it’s your decision. Forgive. Let go. Move forward. Begin anew.

What will you choose?

  1. This is a lovely, noteworthy reminder each of us can use every single day, from “stuff” that holds us captive. I choose to: forgive, let go, move forward, and begin anew.
